Richard Sherman is not one to conceal his feelings on Twitter — even if it involves the NFL’s drug testing policy.
The San Francisco 49ers cornerback tweeted Thursday morning he’d had to submit to a random PED and blood test two weeks in a row ahead of Super Bowl LIV, where Sherman will try to win his second championship and first with San Francisco.
“So a Random PED and Blood test two weeks in a row?! I gotta go play the lottery I must be the most lucky man in the world,” Sherman wrote in one tweet.
“I wonder how many other player have to get blood taken before the Super Bowl. Probably a very exclusive fraternity,” he tweeted three minutes later.
New York Jets running back Le’Veon Bell voiced his displeasure with repeated testing during the regular season, saying he’d been tested five times in the first 10 weeks of the season.
