Tempers flared in the final minute of the Memphis Grizzlies’ big win over the New York Knicks at Madison Square Garden.

With time winding down in a 126-101 Grizzlies victory Wednesday night, Memphis forward Jae Crowder stole the ball then launched a 3-pointer from the corner. Knicks guard Elfrid Payton took exception to Crowder’s try, leveling the Grizzlies veteran. Crowder was not pleased, jumping up and setting off a scuffle that brought the two teams together.

Payton was ejected for picking up a flagrant 2 foul for the act, while Crowder and Knicks forward Marcus Morris were tossed for their roles in the scuffle.

After the game, Morris ripped Crowder with some sexist commentary, calling the Grizzlies player soft and that he plays “very woman-like.”
