The Oscars’ In Memoriam segment left out some stars who died in 2019, viewers noticed, most notably Luke Perry.

The “Riverdale” star died in March 2019 at 52 after a massive stroke. The In Memoriam portion of the awards show honors key Hollywood players who have died since the last awards show.

Perry’s absence from the segment was especially noticeable because he had a role (Wayne Maunder) in Quentin Tarantino’s “Once Upon a Time in Hollywood,” which was up for 10 awards, including best picture. “Parasite” made history by taking home that award.

Perry wasn’t the only one fans noticed missing from the In Memoriam segment. Disney actor Cameron Boyce also wasn’t recognized.

Boyce, who was known for his roles in “Jessie” and “Descendants,” was 20 when he died unexpectedly in July 2019 from epilepsy.

Sid Haig and Tim Conway, both of whom also died in 2019, were missing from the telecast as well.
