Billie Eilish drops theme song for James Bond film ‘No Time to Die’

Just as she does everything, Billie Eilish is making a Bond song her way.

The 18-year-old singer released “No Time To Die” on Thursday, which will serve as the theme song for the James Bond film of the same name, the 25th in the franchise, due in theaters April 10.

With the song’s release, Eilish became the youngest artist ever to write and record a Bond theme.

In the song, Eilish croons about the pain of being deceived.

“Was it obvious to everybody else that I’d fallen for a lie?” she sings. “You were never on my side. Fool me once, fool me twice, how you dare the paradise. Now you’ll never see me cry. There’s just no time to die.”

In addition to announcing the song’s release, the franchise’s official Twitter account said Eilish will perform the song at the 2020 Brit Awards on Feb. 18, where she will be accompanied by her brother and collaborator, Finneas O’Connell, film composer Hans Zimmer and former guitarist for The Smiths, Johnny Marr.
