Orlando Bloom wanted to make a warm gesture by tattooing his son’s name on his arm and posting an adorable picture of fatherly devotion on Instagram.
But “The Pirates of the Caribbean” star, 43, appears to have spelled Flynn’s name wrong, making it “Frynn” with the series of dots and dashes that make up the telecommunications code.
And that’s a total -… ..- — — . .-. (bummer).
Bloom posted the photo dedicated to his 9-year-old son (with ex Miranda Kerr).
“new #tattoo can you guess who?” Bloom wrote beneath the black-and-white photo. Bloom then explained to a fan, “It’s Flynn in MORSE CODE and his dob (date of birth) and time.”
Another photo showed Bloom smiling with his tattoo artist, the A-list ink phenom Balazs Bercsenyi.
However, some fans noticed Flynn’s name was misspelled, with the Morse code instead spelling “Frynn.”
Bercsenyi was proud of the work, too, posting his own picture on Instagram that copped to the error.
“A beautiful reminder for @orlandobloom of his son 👨👦” he wrote, before adding. “And yes, a dot is missing, we know, it will be fixed :)”
